Okay, we have to admit it, we live in rainy Oregon. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place where the kids can play inside during those cold and wet days that we experience so often? A place where the kids can burn off energy in a fun and safe environment? A place that can also be utilized for physical education classes?
Yeah, we thought you’d like the idea.
With the monies raised in the Special Appeal segment of this year’s GSP Auction, we can do just that. Imagine a climate controlled room that is over 2000 square ft. Along one wall we will have a kid’s dream – an indoor climbing wall and padded flooring designed specially for kids that will build coordination, strength, and self confidence. Built-in-storage along another side will allow us to store equipment for both free play and sports classes. Our list of equipment is long and exciting, ranging from balance beams to pickle ball sets. The list, put together by experts in childhood physical development, will both stimulate the mind and body, and encourage a life long passion for physical activity.
Over the past few years, you’ve done some incredible things for the school by generously funding the special appeal. This year you have that opportunity again. Imagine giving the ability for the kids to play inside – happy and healthy.
